53North welcomes Mark Parlby to the team
53North would like to welcome Mark Parlby to the team. Mark will work in the project team as our senior controls engineer. Marks focus will be supporting some of the key elements of asset management like criticality analysis, FMEA and asset care plan development, as well as supporting our work in connected reliability systems. It is key that our connected reliability systems can integrate with sites current PLC and SCADA systems, with Marks experience in these areas, he will be a great addition to our team
We asked Mark to tell you a bit about himself; “I join 53 North with a wealth of experience having worked at a number of factories in different industries such as an Iron Foundry, Ford Motor Company, British Gypsum bag plaster plant, and Mars Petcare. Home is Melton Mowbray and I am currently on the property hunt for my next home. I have two children, Milly 17 and Harry 21. I am a keen golfer (although not very good) and enjoy cycling whenever I get the motivation to go! I am an avid Leicester City Supporter and professional Sky Sports observer!”
