53North welcome Deborah Bird to the team
53North are pleased to announce the arrival of Deborah Bird to the team as our office manager. Deborah joined the team in January and brings with her a wealth of experience along with a drive for improvement. We are very excited to welcome her into a new role for the business. We asked Deborah to introduce herself and this is what she had to say;
My career in administration began in a small local law office followed by a number of years in a city centre firm in Sheffield. Learning all aspects of office life, I moved from being a junior member of the team to being PA to a Partner and then into the complex world of legal aid costing. In 2010, I became the Office Manager in a NHS, mental health service where I learned to work with constraints, targets and deadlines like never before.
I am excited to join 53 North Group as their Office Manager and bring with me a strong work ethic, attention to detail and high standards. My intention is to provide solid administrative support to the Company although my challenge at present is mastering engineering terminology!
Learning and development has been key to where I am today and I firmly believe that “every day is a learning day”. In 2018, I completed NVQ Level 4 Business Administration to consolidate my professional knowledge, skills and experience and, extending that belief into my personal life, I was thrilled to reach the top of Mount Snowdon last year, learning that with determination and perseverance, you can do most things.
