53 North, investing in young people.
53North are proud to invest in young people and welcome two Apprentice Data Analysts to our dedicated Data Analytical Centre. Both are undertaking a Data Analysis Level 3 Apprenticeship. Both our young people felt that learning in a real working environment was the way to go for them.
53North wanted to ensure they are taking action to support the future workforce where possible. Apprenticeship programmes are an important part of this, providing a learning structure and valuable work experience that can help nurture the required skills for our future work force. We take pride in training and development of local young talent and supporting them hitting their full potential.
Billy Clayton started with the company September 2021 and expects to complete his Apprenticeship in January 2023. He will also undertake his CAT I Vibration Analysis qualification in December 2022. Jude Woods is 53North’s second Apprentice; he joined the team in September 2022.
About Billy:
I joined 53 North last September to do an apprenticeship in data analysis, after I had just finished school. I have enjoyed my time here so far and want to continue to progress further.
Outside of work, I enjoy playing and watching football, and have had a season ticket at Sheffield Wednesday for 10 years now.
About Jude:
I joined 53North in September 2022 having recently left school. I’m interested in engineering. I enjoy sports particularly, boxing and football. Having just turned 17, I am looking forward to learning to drive.
We looking forward to see the pair develop over their apprenticeship and we will continue to invest in local young talent.
