New Training Facility
53North have completed studies on effective implementation of asset care programmes. One of the areas that often gets overlooked is how to motivate leaders and followers of the asset care changes. 53North have developed strategies to support this in two key areas; the human need for mastery and the need for belonging.
53North have created a training facility at their head office to support these two areas. Firstly, to support the need for mastery, 53North are carrying out training developed specifically around the needs of the asset care change. This could be asset management training, lubrication training, or training on new technology and equipment. This initial training followed by implementation support allows individuals to learn and master new asset care skills. 53North’s second aim is to connect leaders and engineers with others outside of their organisation so that they can share best practice, common strategies, common difficulties. Making these connections help to develop new communication routes and support networks.
