53North reach over 53,000 hours without a Lost Time Accident

This Summer was a major milestone in 53North Groups history as we reached over 53,000 hours without a Lost Time Accident; this is a record we are incredibly proud of.

The safety of our team is of the upmost importance as we want everyone in our team to go home safe’ at the end of the working day.
Tom Clayton (Managing Director) commented ‘It is amazing to go over 6 years and 6 months without a lost time accident, particularly when you consider the team are working within an engineering and manufacturing environment.  I am really proud of this achievement and the whole team that work together to achieve it’.

ISO 9001:2015 Audit successfully passed!

53North Group are proud to announce that we have recently passed our ISO 9001:2015 certification following a thorough auditing process from ACM Ltd.

The ISO 9001 standard is a collection of management principles designed to ensure that our organisation’s quality management systems meet the needs of our customers and workforce.

The ISO certification means our quality and management systems together with our Health and Safety procedures have all hit the standard required to be ISO certified. For our customers, this means consistency in our levels of quality, service and operation on-site.

Director Keith Smith commented “Quality is one of our six principles and we are fully committed to ensuring our systems provide accuracy, assurance and support to all of our customers. Chris Wragg and the team have done a fantastic job in passing this audit and I know they are continually looking to improve our internal processes and systems to maintain our certification in the future.”
